CBS News has featured “research” done by Kristina Aldridge that claims to “unmask” autistic children by looking at their faces: despite the researcher’s claim that the “facial features” that expose autism can only be “seen” by a 3D computer program, she does just that, identifying autistic children by their photos. Of course, she already knows which children have been diagnosed with autism. That’s cheating by anyone’s standards.
Go ahead; look for yourself.
Do parents know that some amateur school nurse, counselor or gym teacher is diagnosing their child using the sophisticated criterion, “Your kid looks autistic to me”?
The Nazis diagnosed “disposable people” by how they looked, based on a whole lot of measuring, testing and wacko science. That’s a great model to copy.
